UPPSC is a state-level PCS exam which is conducted by Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission for recruitment to various posts in government departments and offices of the state of Uttar Pradesh. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR UPPSC 2023 Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University or equivalent qualification. Graduate candidates between the age of 21 to 40 years can apply for this exam. Reserved candidates are eligible for age relaxation. The candidates born before July 2, 1983 and after July 1,2002 are not eligible to appear in the UPPSC 2023 exam. The candidates must read the notification and fill out the application form accordingly. Candidates must be a citizen of India with the domicile of Uttar Pradesh. Candidates who are in their final year of graduation can also apply for UPPSC though their graduation result should be declared before the final exam of UPPSC.
UPPSC PCS The UPPSC exam recruits state government functionaries in provincial civil services and other state services. These functionaries get their postings in various essential departments such as land records, land revenue and general administration. After the completion of the exam process the commission releases the UPPSC PCS cutoff. UPPSC PCS exam is a state level administrative body. UPPSC conducts the civil services examination for the appointment to various entry-level civil service posts in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The UPPSC PCS exam is a three-stage exam which comprises – Prelims, Mains (written) and Interview. According to the sources, the commission will conduct the UPPSC Prelims exam 2023 in June 2023 in offline mode.

EXAM PATTERN
- Preliminary Examination – There will be two compulsory papers in the preliminary examination. Two hours duration will be provided to the candidates. The paper shall be of 200 marks each. There will be the objective type questions. There is negative marking in Paper 1 and 2 of UPPSC PCS Prelims.
- Main Examination – The written examination will consist of the compulsory and optional subjects. Each optional subject will consist of two papers.
Personality Test – Only such candidates will be called for Interview who are declared successful on the basis of the main examination. Interview will consist of 100 marks.
