Car Racing Games- A New ERA Of Racing Games

Racing games have always been an incredible deal and have always drawn in a reasonable crowd. It goes without saying that these games have always been a favorite among people. Gaming as a whole has constantly been changing and we have already gone through countless evolutions already. That being said, the fun fact is that gaming when it was first introduced in the form of consoles did not hit off well with the people and there was a good reason for it as well. The first gaming console that came out was the Atari and on that was the first ever racing game and from that come different variations. However, before consoles there were arcades, and on those arcades were several different games as well. So yes a lot has changed since then.

Then we have a new player entering our world and we call it the blockchain. From the blockchain came the rise of NFTs which completely changed the whole gaming industry. The most incredible part is that they resurrected a gaming sector that was already going down and actually propelled it to the top, yes we’re talking about the P2E sector. Initially, the sector was heavily based on luck and possibility and so on however these P2E games were backed by blockchain technology and were using NFTs as characters and even minute items were also NFTs as well. This meant that everything could be an NFT quite literally. With that being said let us dive deeper into the history of racing games and what they are today.

The Start Of Racing

Racing was first started in the arcades somewhere around the year 1950 and from there on it continued to grow and evolve then soon led to the first game that could be played on the Atari gaming console called space racing which was launched in the 1970s. This was the start, soon after that even the arcades started upgrading and creating a collection of racing motorsport games that could be played by feeling the entire ride or in other words a simulation.

In 1980 then came out a racing game that was created by Namco and had better visuals and graphics it was called Rally-x and had a singular and multiplayer option too and that was a first considering that most of the games only had a multiplayer standpoint. The visuals of the game were quite colorful and had a spar which makes sense if it were to draw people to it, it needed something different. The bonus was that 8 different people could play the game and this was a first in every sense.

Then came the game that made kart racing something enjoyable, Mario kart! This game has grown by leaps and bounds and has grown into one of the most popular retro and modern game line-ups ever. The game started in the 1990s and Nintendo took off with a blast because the game was insanely popular and people all over the world were enjoying it. In fact to this date, countless people still enjoy the game and play it(for those retro console owners) to relive the time when Mario kart was the talk of the town.

The Next-Gen

In the 1990s, you had the PS1 come out completely changing the entire gaming range. This is primarily because these games were 3D and their resolution was on a much greater level and the game that came out side by side was NFS. This game grew by leaps and bounds and was soon in the PC gaming domain with games like NFTs- most wanted and other games in the same category, it was sort of like the pioneer for high graphic racing games.

Following the launch of the PS1, the PS2 came, and alongside that so did the XBOX which once again changed the gaming scene. However, a new player also entered the segment and those were the PC. Yes, that’s right, it was about this time that games were getting insanely popular on PC games like MotoGP were quickly becoming a big deal too. So there was a lot more than what people expected and countless different racing games came out with the involvement of PCs.

In the year 2004, Asphalt came out and it became the game that we all play now on all different consoles from our PCs to our mobile phones. In fact, even before smartphones came out the game could be played on keypad phones as well.  The game is now in its 9th phase which is called Asphalt 9 and is playable on every platform but enough of that it’s time to move on to the newest generation of racing games, NFT P2E racing games.

The New Gen

Racing games have not gone into the new gen where we have the metaverse and the blockchain and so much more in fact there is even a separate gaming NFT marketplace for people who wish to buy NFTs and play the game. Now while there is still some issue with people playing P2E games, a good way to start would be to start with a game that is reliable well which might take some time.  There’s this NFT marketplace called Jump.trade and they have their own cricket game called MCL now they have also launched the first ever racing metaverse game and it’s called RADDX. While a lot hasn’t been spoken about it, the trailer and the clips are amazing and are something to look forward to.

So with that being said there are other racing games that involve horses, and F1 games like Revv but if you want to experience a proper P2E game with a reliable base and people who have already made a good deal of money by playing games then waiting for RADDX would be the ideal choice.

Conclusion

We have come a long way from where racing games initially were and we will continue to grow and change, but the metaverse and the Web3 are the future, and the key to accessing all of that and more are basically NFTs. Their involvement in everything is quite visible and they are also quite versatile and easy to trade, and use as well. In the context of racing games well, you get the chance of having a car that no one but you can own, and what makes it truly amazing is that your car is literally and figuratively one of a kind. So if that doesn’t make it special and interesting what can?
